Ministry Objective
Due to health problems, I am unable to serve as a Transitional Interim Pastor any longer. If you have stumbled upon this blog while looking for a TIP, I encourage you to keep looking for the right man to lead you through your time of transition. Much prayer and patience are needed when searching for a pastor or an interim. Just as the pastor you will ultimately choose should be the one man God has set aside to shepherd your congregation, the interim pastor should be viewed in the same way. Many churches simply look for someone to "fill-in." There are a lot of men who can "do the job" for your church, but you are not looking for a hireling. You are looking for the man that God has set aside for you. If you would like, feel free to call me if I can assist you in any way. Also, Jewell Burke at the TBC is a great resource for information and names of possible interims in Tennessee.
